What are Procedural Safeguards?

As a parent/guardian you are given an opportunity to participate in the discussion and decision-making process about your child's needs for special education services. "Procedural Safeguards" are your legal rights under Federal and State law to be informed about and involved in the special education process.

The Procedural Safeguards Notice is made available to parents of children with disabilities each year. You may request a copy of the notice at any time by contacting the CSE Office or by clicking on the link below.
